New mag is an Absolute winner for EMC

EMC and our CEO, Nik Askaroff, both feature prominently in the launch issue of Sussex’s new business magazine, Absolute Business.

Nik gives his views on the outlook for M&A deals in 2014 in a double page corporate finance spread and is also quoted extensively in a wide-ranging debate looking at the prospects and challenges for Sussex businesses over the next few years.

Nine of the magazine’s 84 pages are devoted to the round table debate held at the Grand Hotel, Brighton, in which Nik was joined by Keith Jackman, marketing director of Lookers Mercedes Benz; Amanda Menahem, HR Director of Hastings Direct; Clarence Mitchell, prospective Conservative candidate for Brighton Pavilion; John Healy, chairman of law firm Healy’s; and Bruce Hayter, managing partner of Rix & Kay solicitors.

The magazine also features photographs taken at EMC’s Entrepreneurs’ Question Time event in Hove and a piece about our success in winning two prestigious national awards for our corporate finance work last year.

Nik Askaroff welcomed the new publication. He said: “I’m really hoping that Absolute Business can become the voice of business in Sussex. Although the outlook is brighter than it has been for some time, the county is still facing huge infrastructure problems and investment questions that need to be addressed. If the magazine can pull together the interested parties and lobby for Sussex business, it will do a great job.”
