Luxury lingerie firm gets investment support from EMC

fox & rose

EMC Corporate Finance has successfully completed an EIS (Enterprise Investment Scheme) investment for Fox & Rose, the online luxury lingerie business based in Brighton. Fox & Rose is recognised for its leading- edge designs and supplies customers on an international basis.

The EIS is designed to help smaller, higher-risk trading companies to raise finance by offering a range of tax reliefs to investors who purchase new shares in those companies.

Fox & Rose owner Amanda Lorenzani said: “Having started the business three years ago and established ourselves as a leading online brand, this investment will allow us to go to the next level by improving our structure, systems and personnel. It’s a very exciting step that should allow us to rapidly expand our product range and grow our business faster.”

Nik Askaroff, who led the EMC team, said: “We are really pleased to have helped a dynamic local business. It’s not always the biggest deals that are most satisfying but often those that help true entrepreneurs to realise their dreams and this investment should hopefully put Amanda firmly on that path.”

EMC, which has offices throughout Sussex and Kent, has arranged a number of EIS deals over the last 12 months and is in touch with several investors looking for opportunities to help small businesses to grow.

Anthony Nelson, a local digital entrepreneur, is advising Fox & Rose to help the business expand and grow.
